Lots of Pictures!

So I posted some pictures, well lots of pictures! Sorry for so many! There are a bunch of pictures of our house before we started demolition and re-construction. There are also pictures of a Christmas party we hosted with Raymond's friends and a couple days later a couple of my friends! We had so much fun! I was so grateful everyone was able to make it and for all of Ray's friends for driving in a blizzard to get here! We had lots of fun! These are some of the funniest people I have ever met! Thanks for being our friends!
In the Christmas pictures you can see some of our almost finished pictures of our house! Its starting to feel quite comfy! And I just realized that you can comment on peoples posts (yes, I am a little slow) but I was just tickled to see that you all commented! Thank you! I feel really special! And yes, Stacie you pushed for me to blog too, thank you! (And you better start updating and using that new camera!) Hope you all enjoy your snowy holidays!

Before Pics Of Our House

Oh yes I have a blog, finally!

So after much encouragement from my sisters, Jess & Lisa, I have finally started a blog! Now I just have to figure out how to use it! I have successfully changed my background four times over the last week but haven't actually posted anything so here I go!
Just a quick update on what we are up to. I am working in Brigham at a Rehab Center (post-surgical type not drug rehab) and I start the RN program in January. I can't decide if I am excited for it or not. Raymond is working at the Wood Shop, he has been there forever and likes it on most days. Sadly, when he is not working at work he is working at our house.
We closed on our first house the second week of September. We were very motivated and completely gutted the entire house. About three tons of waste later we learned ambition can be a bad thing at times. So over the last tree months we have been living in our house and have feverishly been trying to put it back together! Just an over view of what we have learned to live without over the last few months: a kitchen, any means by which to prepare food, personal belongings, furniture, television, the majority of our clothing coats and shoes, electricity, heat, an outlet and light switch in the bathroom, blinds, multiple windows, parts of our ceiling, doors (yes even the bathroom door), and free time! We have poured our heart, soul, money and time into this house and it is finally starting to come together!
We were able to move some of our furniture into our house last Saturday and oh what a difference it makes! I promise never to say a bad thing about my couches again! They are 10 times better than camp chairs! We even took some time out to set up our Christmas tree! We love Christmas and are hoping to have a kitchen soon so that we can enjoy the season even if just for a little bit! We live a crazy and completely scattered life but we love it! I will post pics of the house when I figure that out, I am still an amature at this stuff!
