Lexi's 2!!!

Here is the Birthday Girl!! We had a an awesome time celebrating her birthday and man this girl knows how to party!! We were exhausted by the time we left her house!! Here she is posing with her cake, trying to steal a taste!! (I hope she liked her cake, I thought it turned out pretty cute!) We did lots of chilling with grandma!!

Madi & Halli helped open all of her presents and I think Madi is just bursting with excitement for her upcoming birthday!!

Halli was so happy to finally steal a chair from the bigger girls!!

Grandpa looked super cool in his dude rag (Is that what it's called???) and gave motorcycle rides.

Madi is getting so big, I can't believe it!

Lexi & Halli were best of friends and LOVE to hold hands!!

Raymond played in the bounce house, so did grandpa and the little kids!!

Jodi was teaching the kids how to do the slip & slide!!

Lisa also tried to teach them how to do it...Grandma & Lisa also had a great time on the slip & slide!!
We also did lots of hanging out and had lots of great food to eat!!!
Lexi is such a special little girl!! We don't know where we would be if we didn't have her spunky personality in our family!! She is such an individual and has the sweetest heart. She loves to share her toys (she was so great about everyone else playing with her new toys), she has the funniest lingo (she got a nintendo puppy that wags his tail and she couldn't stop staring at its tail and then said "crazy"), she is so smart, and I love when she calls me just to say hi!! Lexi we love you and are so happy to be your aunt "cole" & uncle "way"!!

"Buzz & Woody"

I got to hang out with this super cute girl (and her cute mom)... while we made this super cute cake..."buzz & woody" as Lexi calls it
This cute girl is gonna be 2! Crazy how big she is getting! Thankfully "Cole & Way" are becoming some of her favorite people (if you ask me!)!! I randomly get calls from Lexi as she is watching Monsters, she always gives lots of cuddles and she has the funniest vocabulary!! Some of her recent words are "What, What!" "What now fool!" "Wicked"!! And so much more! We just love this little gal so much and can't get enough of her!

1st Camping Trip Of The Year

We went camping for the first time this year, it was a blast! Lots of four-wheeling, lots of good food, good company, and lots of SNOW!! Thats right we got snowed on and it was incredibly cold but oh so worth it! We had a great time and rode some great trails. One trail we rode had some pretty hairy parts where we just slid down the mud covered mountain side, had to ride down the creeks, and one part where we even had to help each four wheeler down a huge rock one at a time!! It was some intense riding which was great!! And just look at these pictures, it was gorgeous! Thanks guys for a fun weekend!!

Happy Birthday Raymond!!!

**Raymond with his birthday present...he picked it out himself...4 weeks early...couldn't wait at all so he disassembled it in the Cabella's parking lot, stuffed it into the prius and then reassembled it when we got home!! Oh & I wouldn't let him use it til now cause it was for his bday...mean I know***

On the 26th of April my dear husband turned 26!! It's supposed to be a lucky birthday (where his age matches his date of birth), but I wound up sick with a great fever and the flu and he was sweet enough to take care of me! We party'd up the weekend for his birthday but we will have to make up his actual day some time!! Saturday we went out to lunch with all the family, on a boat ride, stayed up all night camping out in the living room watching movies, Sunday we napped, watched more movies, had a BBQ with Spencer & Tiffany, and enjoyed our last moments of the weekend together!
I know it's corny but I am so grateful my dear husband was born 26 years ago and that I was able to meet him, instantly fall in love, be sealed for time & all eternity, and have my best friend by my side every day of my life. He truly is an amazing man whose talents and skills amaze me each and every day. In honor of his aging self, here are 26 reasons why I love this man...(in no particular order!)

1. He is tall dark & handsome!!!

2. He is so incredibly patient with me

3. He can sing 90's teenage rebel rock for 2 hours solid & still not be emberassed (at least in front of me!)

4. He loves trailers!! He loves to look at them, buy them and pull them!! It doesn't matter what kind it is but he loves them!!

5. He always puts his family first

6. He is always willing to help others!! (In the winter he likes to take tow ropes with him so he can pull people out of the snow!!)

7. He is great with his hands, able to fix or do anything!

8. His laugh, when he truly laughs I can't help but laugh with him.

9. His grand ideas...he definitely shoots for the moon with any project he has in mind

10. His love for movies!!

11. His strength--physically, emotionally & spiritually

12. His motivation for everything
13. His love of crime shows & big bang...we wish we had DVR & never had to miss them...ever

14. He loves to cuddle!

15. Him in a suit=amazing HOTNESS

16. He always helps with laundry...even if I start it he will keep it going

17. The way he tells stories

18. His willingness to sit & do absolutely nothing whenever I want...or he wants

19. His random acts of romance & being sweet

20. He loves to drive...anywhere...anytime

21. He loves kids

22. He is willing to do whatever I want...even if its dumb or girly

23. He loves me for exactly who & what I am

24. Together we are quarky...which I love

25. He is smarter than he will ever give credit for

26. He is mine, for all eternity

I love you so much Raymond! I am grateful for you, for all that you are, the life that we have, the love that we share, and I am eternally grateful for everyday that we have together!!

The 5 Lil Trees

Mr. Whipple and I decided to re-landscape our backyard which begins a whole new journey for us. With recent weather & schedule restraints the yard is progressing slowly with only a "few" hiccups. So begins our story...once upon a time there were 5 lil trees sitting in my backyard. We decided they needed to disappear. On a sunny Saturday afternoon we pulled the truck into the backyard and began our efforts.

With a tow rope snug around the 1st tree and Mrs. W in the drivers seat, she began to bounce the truck forward & backwards to loosen the roots and out came the 1st lil tree.

With similar set up, the 2nd lil tree also came out very graciously.

Tree #3 was a bit more stubborn & decided to come flying out of the ground, flying until even with the front cab of the truck, striking dead air within a small 5 foot span between the truck & the house. Yay, for small miracles.

Tree #4, though smaller than the rest, was much stronger. He required a bit more coercion. And soon just as you all predicted, he came flying from the ground with impressive speeds, slamming into the tailgate of the truck and completely shattering. All Mrs. W could see in the rear view mirror was a blast of wood & dirt and feel a giant "thud". Yes this was bad, but it also gets worse. There were sheet rockers working in our sun room who quickly yelled for us to come. And look what we found...

The blast against the truck had sent shrapnel flying. It did not shatter all at once, but slowly & painfully over 10-15 minutes we could hear & see cracks working their way throughout our entire door. It was quite interesting watching tempered glass work its magic, but this time I did not laugh. I did, however, say a few choice words. Right next to this beautiful door lies our most recently broken window. This makes 5 windows/door broken since purchasing our home in September 08. And to think, we have a sun room full of windows and glass doors. Keep your fingers crossed that our luck with glass improves.
Minutes after the shattered glass we were working with the chain saw to cut some trees out of the fence. The chainsaw caught and lunged straight towards my face. Mr. W was able to stop the chainsaw a mere 12" from my face. Thank goodness.
We are nearing the end of our story and yet you are wondering what has happened to our 5th lil tree. Well, he has been luckily saved by default. After the above incidents, we called it a day realizing at some point things could always get worse...and I don't think we could have handled it getting any worse!!

Latest Cakes

I hadn't made a cake for awhile but here are 2 of my recent projects. The 1st cake was for my sis-in-law Lisa---she just turned 21!!! She keeps asking us all to go to Wendover with her...which hopefully we can go soon...so I made her a casino cake!! This was one of my funner cakes to make & I think probably turned out best due to trying to remain stress free during the making of it!! Notice the pile of $ with dice, "whisky bottles" which have lil notes to Lisa on it, the feathers & gold ribbon...really fun! Now Lexi keeps asking to go get a treat cause she has $!! The barbie cake I made for a gal at work...I don't think it turned out great but others say it looks okay so I guess we will show you :)

My dear boy is spontaneous...

Yup, he bought a 4 wheeler. I can't say much cause I was pretty excited. Raymond swears his 1st 4 wheeler is what made me fall in love with him so now we have one again! Yay! We can't wait to go up riding with the family! **And yes it is living in the sunroom right now!

Tang-A-Licious

Last summer we were in charge of the menu & grocery shopping for the Whipple Family's Annual Trip to Hyrum Dam. It was really fun trying to plan & shop for 40+ people (truly I thought it was really fun!)!! We were very sad because we couldn't find the giant cans of Tang anywhere, Raymond remembers always drinking Tang growing up and loving it so we ended up buying lots of little cans to take up with us!! Guess what we just found!!! Oh yeah, we were really excited. We bought 6 cans which should make approximately 33 gallons!!! Yay!!

Winn Easter Party

We were able to get together with my family for Easter brunch which was also a blast! We were able to eat, find easter eggs, and eat lots more. The girls figured out the best way to get candy out of the eggs were to throw them at the floor and then candy would explode everywhere!! It was hilarious and their sugar high was insane! These are some of my favorite people...they aren't the best at smiling on command but they are still pretty cute!!

Whipple Easter Party

We always have a blast with the Whipple group, Easter was no different. The easter bunny brought the boys some bubble guns which were really fun...as you can see! It looks like everyone was attacking Brenda but in reality they were getting Mama Whipple, and she really loved it! I didn't get very many pictures of the fun but just know this cute smile was very similar to the other 17 smiley nieces and nephews who made the party a blast!

I made these cute little guys for all our nieces & nephews, I was so nervous they wouldn't like them but I was wrong! Each time I see them now they beg me to help make more bunnies! Kaylee & Abby even started making baby bunnies out of felt!! It made me so happy that they liked them!!
