This was my first time canning fruit! I have done freezer jam before but never steam-canning. We got a TON of apples from my in-laws so I decided with Thanksgiving fast approaching and with that the need for pies, that we should can some home-made apple pie filling!! I suppose we got carried away but we ended up with 42 quarts of filling! Now we just have to find someone that likes fruit filling because it's not the Ray Whipple's! Thanks for all your help mom, it was definitely exhausting but oh so fun!
