Funny Story...
I went to the Cookie Farm, which is also known as the Lofthouse Cookie Outlet Store, the other day and had a life altering experience. We are always assigned cookies for Whipple Family functions (can't complain, other than emotional trauma its quite easy) and each time I go there the cashier is always the same woman...5'2 ish slender gray curly hair...typical cute little grandma look. Well I am terrified of her. Terrified to the point that I have severe anxiety and have to work up the gumption to go to the store! I always get flustered when I am there and end up getting 8-10 more boxes of cookies than I need!! I just start grabbing cookies and throwing them in the boxes and then I always take cash to avoid extra time paying and I get the *H* out of there!! I know I sound like a three year old but she just scares me and isn't ever very nice to me!
Well I went to get cookies for a nephews baptism and was ready with my usual mad dash approach but I promised myself I could only get as many cookies as I set in to get. No getting terrified into consumerism on this trip. Well I did it! I got only 6 boxes of cookies and...she was nice to me!! I didn't know if I should cry or kiss her but I left there on top of the world! My life was altered and I may never fear the cookie farm again!! Wow, I sound pathetic but it was really quite funny!
Since you already can tell from the story above that I am special, I will share one of my random loves with you! I really like Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and if you give me one to eat I will enjoy it so very much...but if you give me a holiday Reese's, the heavens will open and I will saver each and every bite!! It might just be me but I think they taste so much better when shaped as a tree, pumpkin or egg! Thank goodness Easter is round the corner and I can indulge myself! Hope every one is enjoying the new found February Sunshine!!

I'm not sure if you know that i follow your blog, but I do. And I love it. I'm a blog stalker.
I loved this post so much that I read the entire thing out loud to my husband and we giggled together about it. Just the other day, we had a good long conversation about the crazy cookie lady at Lofthouse. "You need another box". She scares us both. And she is ALWAYS there!
Also, I COMPLETELY agree with you about the Reese's thing. I LOOOOOVE any form of Reese's, but the holiday Reese's are so much better than regular. Too bad I didn't know you also shared my Reese's fettish, I had some in my diaper bag at church today, I would have shared... maybe next week.
yep. i agree. the holiday reese's are SO much better than the regular ones?! what is it? i dont know? maybe the rigid sides?!
Nicole...afraid of something?.....Yah right! You're fearless!! You made me really want cookies and reeses!.....It's funny because Jimmy was just telling me how he hates the holiday reeses! what a weirdo huh!
bahahha this was hilarious to me. All I could think about during the whole post was the soup nazi...."no soup for you."
