Angela Marie

Angela Marie Whipple was born 3/10/2010 at 11:17 am. She was 5 lbs 13 oz and 20 inches long. This sweet baby had a bigger purpose than any of us could imagine. She spent 9 short months in her mommy's belly and then returned to her Father in heaven. Baby Angela has brought our family closer together, taught us to better support one another, cry together and love together. There have been several long sleepless nights, busy days helping one another, and several tears shed for this sweet baby but we know now more than ever that our Father in heaven has a plan for each of us and someday we will be together forever. Jim & Celeste were chosen to be the parents of this special angel and have great blessings in store for them. I am grateful for the special moments I was able to share with Angela Marie. I was able to help make hand & foot molds, dress her, pose her for pictures, and I even helped with her first haircut. Raymond helped Celeste's dad make a special chest for all these keepsake's to go in.

Her funeral was today. It was heart wrenching to watch her Dad carry her casket to the chapel, her Mom so physically weak from grief, and her big sisters pull her casket to her grave in their big wood wagon. We can't imagine the pain they are feeling but we do know how much we long to be parent's and how heart broken we would be to have been so close only to have our baby taken from us. The services were beautiful, fit for a Daughter of God. We love you Angela Marie and are grateful and proud to be your Aunt & Uncle. We love your mom, dad and sisters and promise to watch over them for you.

One of my favorite quotes which has brought me comfort...

Today marks a profound and bittersweet milestone for all of us, as we bear witness to both an end and a beginning. And while we must continue on, we must also be grateful to have been blessed with someone who has so ably guided us to where we are today. When there has been so much love and happiness for someone, it is natural to be reluctant to close such a wonderful chapter in our lives, for moving forward is rarely accomplished without considerable grief and sadness. And while our sorrow may be profound, the clouds will clear, and the sun will shine on us again. And in that warm, bright light we will find ourselves facing a glorious future. A future of exciting challenges and infinite possibilities, in which the horizon will stretch out before us, trimmed in the heavenly glow of the sunrise of our tomorrow.
