Every year over the 4th of July we go to Hyrum Dam camping with the Whipple family. It is lots of fun! We spend our time hanging out, boating/swimming and enjoying time away from life! I have some of the cutest nieces & nephews in the world! There are 24 total between both our families! Camping with the Whipple's is always exciting, Whipple's don't tend to do things half way--"GO BIG OR GO HOME"--certainly applies. So naturally camping is a loosely used term to describe what we do at Hyrum Dam! We had lots of fun & can't wait until next year!
Sarah, Kaylee & Abby had a concession stand with goodies for our movie on the projector a couple of nights. These girls are hilarious, they were each assigned a station (self-assigned) to manage products such as nachos, candy bars/chips, and drinks. This way they were "more efficient" in the distribution. So fun and so funny to watch! Yup that was a soda machine--full of carbonated shasta!!
See this boat with SIX 3-4 year olds, yup Raymond Kyle & myself somehow ended up on a boat together with all these kids! I spent several long turns tubing with each of these little gals, they were all really brave and we each had an extra thrilling ride!
My cute husband, without hair again.
These 2 wonderful people joined us for the fireworks on Friday night, my Dad & niece Lexi...Lexi was a little timid about the fireworks at first but then she realized she could still hear the music so she then spent the rest of the show dancing! If only I knew how to upload the video!!
Lots of beautiful fireworks...
All the cute Whipple grandkids at the Firework show...
Cody & Lisa as well as my mom & dad joined us at the dam to celebrate my birthday on Saturday, lots of fun to go boating with you guys!
Us...
Lexi may be 2 but she sure is brave!!
We always have skits at the family get togethers (these kids are quite DRAMAtic), and how much better does it get than a wild bunch of Indians doing the Hokey Pokey...pretty funny!
My awesome mom brought me this super cute cake & sparklers for candles, I love being an almost 4th of July baby!
And of course my sweet husband spoiled me rotten! Can't believe I am already 24!! Time sure does fly by fast!!
We had an awesome weekend, a much needed break from our busy schedules!! Hope you all had an amazing Independence Day, I am so grateful for the country in which we live and the freedoms that we have!

How fun!! You and your family do lots of fun/unique things together. I need to implement a little creativity into our get togethers! :) Hope your birthday was wonderful! Oh, and the tube ride looks like a BLAST!
