Ray's BABY sister is getting married! We had the traditional Carrot Cake & Cherry 7UP engagement party for her where everyone in the family give the Newlyweds to Be advice! This was the first one since Ray and I got engaged 5 1/2 years ago...insert the heart felt "ahh" now....so it was kinda fun to be on the giving end of things not the receiving! Rodger gave his sermon on marriage being equal to a pair of gloves...each of you wear one and function seperately but ultimately you are of the same pair and have to behave as such! Camille gave her usual "If it doesn't matter in 20 years it doesn't matter now" which has come in very helpful throuhgout our marriage! After each person gives their advice we all raise our Cherry 7UP filled champagne glasses and toast to the advice. It is pretty fun!
Nicole's Advice: Never give up on your dreams but make sure you dream BIG together!
Ray's Advice: When your wrong admit it, when your right SHUT UP!
Why won't he take his own advice?? Hmmmm....
