We had the great opportunity to drive to Missouri for the weekend to see 2 awesome people who were able to be endowed and then sealed with their kids in the Kansas City temple! It was a LONG drive for a short weekend but it was so awesome to be there! We spent a total of 72 hours away from home and were driving for 32 hours and that doesn't include around town driving! We saw the sunset in Wyoming on Friday, the sunrise in Nebraska, breakfast in Iowa and lunch in Missouri! We spent most of the time either at the temple or hanging out at their house visiting with them and their families! It was so fun! We headed home on Saturday and spent the night at some po-dung hotel in Burlington Colorado, stopped for lunch in Denver at Hard Rock Cafe...which is a favorite travel destination of ours. Then we continued on to home! I had a great time being stuck in close quarters with Ray for a whole 3 days although he was probably sick of me!
While we were in Kansas City we went to the Liberty Jail and although I had been before it was still very cool to see and Raymond liked it as well!
