Lava Hot Springs

We went up to Lava Hot Springs a couple weekends ago (I am slow to post, sorry) with my mom and her family. We spent our time four-wheeling, floating the river, eating, playing games and enjoying each others company! I had never been up there before but I really fell in love with the place! Our first time down the river we had a 3 person tube with me, Ray & my mom on it. Half way down we got snagged on a rock and our tube completely deflated within seconds!! My poor mother got stuck in it and kept gulping water but for the most part it was pretty funny! We took the tube back to the rental place and they were quite surprised at the size of the gash! Saturday night we went to the hot springs with Jess & Kip and had a great time. Well there was a couple that kept following us around that were just special. He was missing an eye, had long hair and tattoos everywhere. She was quite saggy & proud of it (her swimsuit barely covering her was our proof) and kept groaning & yelling profanities like she was experiencing something better left in the bedroom. Oh and they kept grabbing each other!! It was real special to be able to witness that! Overall it was a great weekend & time spent with the family! The trails we went 4-wheeling on were amazingly beautiful, it was fun to see the start of fall showing through!
