Last Saturday we did some serious tree pruning. Our trees were very large and beautiful but also messy! The cherry & apple trees were both huge and therefore unable to harvest so we just had a yard full of mushy apples & cherry pits (the birds ate all the cherries so there were just pits everywhere!). We are taking out the large bushy tree in the corner completely and are hoping the cherry & apple trees will come back healthier. There was also a large dead cherry tree that we are taking out completely! I was amazed the boys got all the trees down so all that is left is getting the 2 stumps up!

My Dad's Battle Wounds:
My poor dad showed us on Sunday his battle wounds from the event! Both of his arms were tore up! Sorry for the wounds but thanks for the help! We were truly blessed to have family come help with the project, it was much to big for just Raymond & I! Thanks so much to Kip, Jess, Dad, Cody, Spencer, & Kyle!! And thank you Grandpa Whipple for buying everyone lunch! We couldn't have done it without all of you!

It's like the men of the family had a great time :) It's a bummer you couldn't harvest anything from those trees.
Your yard looks so much better now, it must feel good to have all that work done. Hope everything is going well.
