I went to the doctor again today and there was finally some good news! They did an ultrasound and couldn't see anything anywhere which is a good sign. They also did another blood test to see if my levels were coming down, if they were down more than 15% I wouldn't have to get another injection! I asked the doctor if he would run it STAT so I could get results today and an injection today if needed, he said sure no problem but why might I ask. I told him I worked in the morning and couldn't leave again. He thought I was crazy. He tried to convince me that I shouldn't be working but you have to pay for all the medical bills somehow right! I headed off to work after some amazing waffles with choke-cherry syrup made with the hubby and they called me later to let me know that my level was down 30%!! Yay, finally things appear to be working! I don't have to go back to the doctor for a whole week unless I am having problems. My abdomen and back have been hurting worse than when I had the initial effects of the medication so I am not sure what that means but I guess we will see Monday. I am still uber tired and am darn near narcoleptic! But things are looking up, as long as the levels keep dropping we will only have a few more weeks of blood draws and and then a few more months to let the medication clear completely from my system and then we will be ready for more fertility treatments! No fun, but hopefully this was the start for good things to come! Thanks again for all your sweet thoughts and prayers!
