Thanksgiving was great! I had to work half the day but we were still able to spend some time with both of our families. After work we headed to Salt Lake and visited the Stapel's, then we visited the Winn's then we detoured back to Brigham and spent some time with the Whipple's. We are very blessed to have wonderful families that are very large and very social. It makes each gathering VERY fun! My grandparents are in Hawaii on a mission so it was kind of weird not being able to see them on Thanksgiving but I guess I am not opposed to visiting them in Hawaii :) We are truly blessed in our lives and are so grateful for all the opportunities we have had, the things we have done, our time that we have together. Life is not perfect, there are things we wish we could do/see/be, but we are very grateful to be where we are.
"One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering."
