Life Is Good

Life is good.  We are having lots of fun and getting out to do things.  I just love being out, doing things with friends and family!  Do you want to know just what we have been up to?? Well here it goes...

Sunday 7th--Dinner at our house with Thurston's & Taylor's...we had my yummy Parmesan chicken.  We had dinner, played Would You Rather? and watched some hilarious you tube videos...might I suggest searching "Hide Your Wife", watch the news clip then the I-tune available song! It is so funny!

Monday 8th--Movie night at Thurston's...we watched I Am Legend with the alternate ending which I have never like this show but turns out with the alternate ending I am quite happy with it!

Tuesday 9th-- Dinner at our house with Spencer & Tiffany...Raymond made (yes, he made it all by himself!) Broccoli Potatoe soup! It was really good!

Wednesday 10th-- Raymond had young mens, I was able to do some much needed organizing/cleaning and ended up shredding seriously like 10 lbs of papers from our file cabinet!

Thursday 11th--We hung out at Whipple's for a little while, I was able to hear all about the things that Jenni (4yrs old) would buy at the store if she earned the money!  Her list included cereal, a stuffed unicorn and maybe something for Nikki & Brooke (her sisters)!! She is a nut!

Friday 12th--Dinner at Thurston's with them and the Taylor's.  We ate, watched Grown Up's and had a great time!

Saturday 13th--  I got to hang out with these super cute girls (& the handsome Kayson)!  Marci is expecting her 1st baby in January, today was her baby shower!  Look how good she looks! It had been so long since I had seen these gals so it was really fun to be able to catch up even if it was just for a little bit!  (Amanda we missed you but know that you were having a blast where you were!)  That night we went to dinner with Cody, Lisa & Lexi.  We really like this group, they just make us laugh!  Lexi is a nut and I can't imagine not being her aunt!  Afterwards we went to see Morning Glory, new movie with Rachel McAdams.  Very good!  I recommend it to everyone!

Sunday 14th--I taught primary today, our discussion was on forgiveness.  We discussed the crucifixion and how Jesus forgave those that treated him wrongly.  One of my little girls burst into tears while we were talking about it and looking at the picture, she informed me that it is very sad and we shouldn't look at it anymore instead we should draw a rainbow because that always makes people happy.  It was very sweet and innocent, this little gal just cracks me up with some things she does/says!  Raymond taught his lesson which he said went really well.  This was the first Sunday in a long time we actually got up early and had breakfast with time to relax and review our lessons and read our scriptures before church.  It really made our day/lessons go so much easier!  MacKenley (Dani & Michelle's little one) entertained us all throughout sacrament with her hand puppets and "The Old Lady Who Swallowed A Fly" doll!  She is hilarious and seriously helps the meeting pass so much more quickly!  Thurston's came over for dinner again...this time we had yummy homemade vegetable beef soup and rolls!  It was so fun to relax and surprisingly we never run out of topics to discuss!

Like I said, Life is good.  We are surrounded by good people and having good times!  I am so thankful for all the friends and family we have that keep us going each day!
