I can't believe we have had a daughter for over 2 weeks (2 weeks 1 day to be exact). Life is wonderful. It's amazing how little I care to sleep (although I know it will catch up with me and bite me in the rear), all I want to do is snuggle and watch Katelyn's every breath and move. She amazes me. We had a wonderful week at home with Ray, we are going to struggle when he has to go back to work. The Whipple's had the 2nd party of their holiday celebrations. We had a great time hanging out with family, having a fun gift exchange and showing off our little love. Zac (He is 8 years old) was the best. Every time he would walk by he would smile and talk in a sweet little coo and tell Katelyn how cute she is. I love that this boy is crazy and rambunctious but has such a tender heart! Katelyn wore her awesome Transformers outfit which we both love.
She still sleeps a ton but when she is awake she watches everything very intently. She has the sweetest smiles and gets so "drunkenly happy" after eating. It is adorable. She is still such a calm baby and rarely cries.
I am still in awe that she is ours, I love knowing that she will be ours forever. I can't imagine our life without her.
