Talk about an extremely long/short/exciting/nerve-wracking day...if that makes sense. Thursday night was spent assembling Katelyn's furniture...not that we procrastinate these things! Friday I spent the day finishing stuff up around the house such as organizing Katelyn's room, putting clothes in her dresser, wandering around the house just trying to imagine what the next day would bring and waiting for Ray to get home. Ray had been working ridiculous hours for the last few weeks and I kept telling him "I don't like it but whatever, but if you are late on Friday I am going to be super angry!". I was so excited for our last night out, we were going to go to a movie and dinner, wander the city and basically just enjoy one anothers company. Well he was late. I wasn't exactly happy but I didn't let it ruin our night. We didn't make it for a movie but we did hit up Ruby River for dinner (the company was great the food was "OK"), we headed to Walmart for some last minute items and then headed home to relax and snuggle with some hot chocolate and a treat. Raymond can be pretty awesome when he wants to be and tonight was one of those times. I came home to a surprise sitting in the bassinet. I have wanted a nice cozy robe for a long while and he found me one! He also surprised me with another ring for my mothers necklace with Katelyn's birthstone! I was so surprised! He really is such a great guy, I am very lucky! We tried to go to bed early and get lots of rest but we were WAY to excited! Just knowing that the next day would change our entire life we couldn't shut our minds down! We just laid in bed and talked all night! It was definitely better than going to a movie!
I will post better pictures of the nursery and Raymond's furniture but know that it is BEAUTIFUL! He is so talented!
