I know everyone thinks they are pretty lucky when it comes to their nieces and nephews but I am more blessed than I could have ever imagined! I am very proud to be the aunt of Miss Briele Kate! This little gal is one very special little girl. She is the happiest little gal around and even though she had been very sick she was so happy during her party, she loves everyone (especially me, which I love!!), she loves to EAT, she rarely cries (before 3-ish months it was a whole different story!) and she is ALWAYS so excited to see me! Every time I see her she gets a giant smile and stretches her arms out for me, it just melts my heart! When she was a baby I got to be her first babysitter it was in the hospital while Jess showered but her daddy gave me very specific instructions on exactly how to care for her and to call him if she got the least bit upset even though he would only be gone for half an hour. Briele used to require quite the routine of extreme bouncing, running up and down stairs, or any exhausting jostling before she would fall asleep and I was so happy to be one of the few that could get her to sleep. She is so loved by so many people! She has changed her mom & dads entire life and I know they couldn't be any happier that she joined their family. I can't imagine what life would be like without Miss B. I love when I get to hang out with her for the day, snuggling up for naps, playing, getting her to giggle (which is easy because she is so happy) and just watching her grow up! The Winn grand-babies just wouldn't be complete without her, I love all of them more than I could ever explain! They make life so much fun!
One of Miss B's accomplishments is she turned one!! She also has the cutest wave hello/goodbye, she blows kisses, if you cough she will fake cough in return, she is getting quite vocal and will yell and yell to get your attention, she has been going up and down my stairs for months and loves to follow you around the house crawling, and she is such a GOOD EATER! She loves to eat and will open her mouth as wide as it will go to take a bite!!
Her mommy threw an AWESOME first birthday party which was SO CUTE! Miss B was the star of the event but all the decorations were competition!
Miss B did so well opening her presents but was a little overwhelmed that all of the little girls wanted her to open them up much faster than she could!
I had the honor of making her cake and I believe it turned out pretty good! She wasn't huge into digging into but she loved picking off each piece of fondant and looking at it until she set it aside and would pick off another piece! She had lots of people helping her with the cake so she eventually got pretty messy and would copy what others would do so we got pretty messy as well!
