Merry Christmas 2011

Raymond and I had a wonderful Christmas.  We opened presents and searched for the pickle on Christmas Eve since I had to work bright and early on Christmas Day. We love Christmas and anyone who has been to our house during the season knows it.  We have decorations everywhere, even in the bathroom.  We love to decorate for the season and most of the other holidays get neglected because Christmas just wears us out!

Santa usually hides the pickle but this year we decided to play our own game with finding the pickle.  We each took a turn hiding it and timed the other to see who found it the quickest.  I won, even though Raymond had a pretty good hiding spot so I got the pickle present, Sherlock Holmes on Blue Ray.  We then opened presents and as usual Raymond surprised me!  I got a Ruger 22 Rifle (which I love), an awesome giant wind chime (which I have wanted since our honeymoon when we bought cool ones for our parents as thank you's), a tripod for my camera, and my favorite...a mother's necklace.  It's not your typical mother's necklace but we aren't the typical parents.  He surprised me with a 10K white gold chain and then it has 2 tiny rings that are 10K white gold with the birthstone (based on the due date of each baby) on it.  I love it and wear it everyday.  Raymond got the remaining things he needed for the sound system in the sunroom and patio (speakers, wires, switches, etc.), a couple concealed gun holsters, 4-wheeler ramps, screw driver set, Modern Warfare 3, and a new browning switch blade knife.  We were spoiled.  We had a great nights rest and then Ray woke up early with me, baked the breakfast casserole I had prepared the night before, and we had Christmas breakfast with each other then I headed to work:)  Merry Christmas!!
