I decided to get a little creative for Christmas this year for our neighbor and co-worker gifts and I was pretty pleased with how they turned out.
For my nurses and CNA's I gave them a bag of jolly ranchers that said "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas!"
For several of our younger neighbors we gave them games you put in the DVD player and play it through your remote (Who Want's To Be A Millionaire, Deal or No Deal or Family Feud) and it said "Hope Your Holidays Are Playful & Fun!"
For our older neighbors we gave them a notepad that said "I hope your holidays are Noteworthy!"
And for the gals I work with in the office and other friends/co-workers I made some homemade syrup (thank you so much for helping Jessica!) and for the "from" we put "Mrs. ButterWhipple". Yeah we think we are hilarious!!
I really love being able to give to others and I am really happy with how these turned out. We always want to show our appreciation to all of our friends and neighbors and Christmas is a great time. I was also very proud because we went to our ward Christmas party this year. First time ever!! In the 5+ years since we were married we have never gone, I am so glad we have so many friends in our ward, it really makes participating much more fun! Afterwards we went and hung out with friends and enjoyed our snowless December evening!
